The weather conditions are becoming better every day and the expectation for an excursion, even for one day is big!
After communication so much via the forum, so much via telephone, the appointment is fixed at 9.00 morning of Sunday at Kavalas str. The amazing thing is  that at  9.05pm everybody arrived at the meeting point  and we started our trip. The Participants were Vangelis, Panos, Dimitris, Christina, Kyriakos and Dimitra. Our final destination is the lake Tsivlou, near Akrata. We programmed a stop at  Xylokastro town for a coffee, where we will be met with Nikolae  and Paschalia, who had gone there from Saturday to a friendly pair, outside the centre of the town.  After one hour and something we roll up and we sat in coffee that it was proposed to us by Panos near the beach. The sunshine it is really amazing… After a while the rest of the members arrived and after we drunk our coffee we left for our destination. We made a short stop for gas and we continued. Near Akrata we left the national road and directed itself to the lake.
Until the time we started climbing, the route didn't have anything interesting to offer to us. While we passed to the other side of the mountain, the route became instantly amazing and the contact with nature direct! In a lot of points the altitude grows and the view get even more beautiful. For this reason we made a lot of stops to take photographs our attitudes are frequent for photographs. Vangelis many times begins before us so as to photograph us in movement. Reaching the lake, we were left stunned once again, staring at the nature ... At the place that we stopped, there were a lot of people doing picnic. There were also a party of 10 motorcyclists that came there to relax before us. Kyriakos and Nikolae they couldn’t hold themselves and they wear their swimsuit and dive in the lake. The water was still cold. After we made the tour of the lake with the machines, taking enough photographs, we directed to the village Peristera so as to eat. After we finished our food, which did not pleased us enough, we started our return. This time, instead of travelling back with the same route, we decided to choose a newer road, which was on one hand way better (fresh asphalt), but it's hiding a lot of road dangers if you don't stay focused. The period that we did our trip, the road was still under construction. After a few kilometers, while we started to descend, we noticed on our right hand a monastery carved into the stones! Fantastic and rare sightseeing! After approximately 20 kilometers, we got ourselves back into the known highway, near Akrata, where we took the way back to the capital.
