We started our tour from Athanasios Diakos at 10:00 a.m. with excellent weather and very good mood. We left behind us Lamia and we made our first stop at the village Agios Georgios (S.George). In our way to Timfristos we met a tunnel, which we followed and it led us straight to Karpenisi. There we made our second stop. Continuing our tour we saw marvellous landscapes. Finally we arrived at the monastery of Proussos. It’s certainly worthy it to visit this place not only for its historical meaning but also for the beauty of the landscape.
The total distance of our route was 360 km. From Lamia to Karpenisi the road was good and full of close turns but from Karpenisi to Proussos it was rather bad!!!
